Acceptable Use Policy

The principle. Bimerge AI is a tool to help you grow authentically. Use it the way you would want others to use it on you. Don't spam, harass, deceive, or break the law. If you wouldn't do it manually, don't do it with our automation either.

1. Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to everyone who uses Bimerge AI. It is part of our Terms of Service. Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account, and we may report illegal activity to law enforcement.

2. Prohibited content

You may not create, upload, schedule, or publish through Bimerge AI any content that:

  • Violates the laws of any jurisdiction where the content is published or received.
  • Infringes intellectual-property rights — copyrighted material, trademarks, or rights of publicity — that you don't have permission to use.
  • Defames, harasses, threatens, intimidates, or stalks any person.
  • Promotes hatred or violence on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age, or national origin.
  • Sexualises or endangers minors in any way.
  • Promotes self-harm, suicide, eating disorders, or dangerous challenges.
  • Contains malware, exploits, or links to malicious sites.
  • Distributes someone else's personal data without their consent (doxing).
  • Promotes illegal goods or services (regulated drugs, weapons, counterfeit goods, fraud, human trafficking, illegal gambling).
  • Knowingly contains false information designed to deceive (mis/disinformation), particularly about elections, public health, or financial markets.

3. Prohibited conduct

You may not use Bimerge AI to:

  • Send spam, mass unsolicited messages, or unsolicited DMs at scale.
  • Engage in bot-like activity that mimics human users — auto-following, auto-liking, mass-commenting, follow-then-unfollow tactics.
  • Create fake accounts or operate accounts on behalf of someone without authorisation.
  • Buy, sell, transfer, or rent social-media accounts or followers.
  • Manipulate engagement metrics on connected platforms (engagement pods, vote-rigging, etc.).
  • Interfere with the normal functioning of the Service (denial-of-service attacks, abusive scripting, attempting to reverse-engineer or scrape the Service).
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any account, system, or data.
  • Circumvent rate limits, content filters, or other technical safeguards.
  • Resell, white-label, or redistribute the Service without our written agreement (Agency plan customers excepted, within their plan terms).

4. Platform-specific rules

Each social platform you connect has its own terms of use. You must comply with all of them, in addition to this AUP. Bimerge AI cannot override platform-side restrictions, and platforms may independently penalise accounts for behaviour they consider abusive — even if it complies with this policy.

  • Instagram & Facebook — Meta Platform Terms, Instagram Community Guidelines, Facebook Community Standards.
  • X (Twitter) — X Developer Agreement and X Rules.
  • LinkedIn — LinkedIn Marketing API Terms and Professional Community Policies.
  • TikTok — TikTok Community Guidelines and Developer Terms.
  • Pinterest — Pinterest Community Guidelines and Developer Policy.

5. AI-generated content rules

When you use AI features (Compose, Repurpose, Brand Voice), you agree to:

  • Review every output before publishing. AI can produce inaccuracies, hallucinations, or content that doesn't fit your brand voice.
  • Not use AI to impersonate real people without their consent.
  • Not generate deepfakes or sexually explicit imagery of identifiable individuals.
  • Disclose AI involvement when required by law (e.g. EU AI Act provisions on synthetic media in the EU).
  • Not use AI outputs to manipulate elections, public health information, or financial markets.

6. Reporting violations

If you encounter content or behaviour on Bimerge AI that violates this policy, please report it to abuse@bimerge.online with as much detail as you can provide. We investigate every report and respond within 5 business days.

7. Enforcement

We may, at our discretion and depending on the severity of the violation:

  • Issue a warning and request that the offending behaviour stop.
  • Remove specific content from the Service.
  • Restrict access to certain features (publishing, AI generation, social-account connections).
  • Suspend the account temporarily.
  • Terminate the account permanently and forfeit any unused subscription credit.
  • Report illegal activity to law enforcement.

For severe violations (CSAM, credible threats, mass-spam) we reserve the right to act immediately and without prior notice.

8. Appeals

If your account is restricted or terminated and you believe it was in error, you can appeal to appeals@bimerge.online within 30 days. We aim to review appeals within 7 business days.

9. Updates

We may update this AUP as new abuse patterns emerge or as platform policies evolve. Material changes will be communicated by email and via the in-product banner at least 14 days in advance.
