Data Deletion Instructions
1. Self-service deletion (recommended)
The fastest way to delete your data is from inside the app:
- Sign in at bimerge.online.
- Open
Settings → Account → Danger zone. - Click Delete account.
- Confirm by typing your email address.
- You will receive an email confirming the deletion has begun.
If you only want to disconnect a specific social-media account (without deleting your Bimerge AI account), go to Settings → Connected accounts, click the account, and select Disconnect.
2. Email request
If you can't access your account, email us instead:
- Address: privacy@bimerge.online
- Subject line:
Data deletion request - Include in the body:
- The email address linked to your Bimerge AI account.
- (Optional) A short explanation if you want to give one — not required.
- The phrase: "I confirm I want all my Bimerge AI data permanently deleted."
We may need to verify your identity (typically by confirming you control the email address) before completing the deletion. We will respond within 7 days and complete the deletion within 30 days of verification, in line with GDPR Article 17.
3. Deletion via Meta / Facebook
If you signed up using Facebook Login or connected an Instagram or Facebook account, you can also remove Bimerge AI's access via Meta:
- Open Facebook → Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites.
- Find Bimerge AI in the list.
- Click Remove and confirm.
Removing the app via Meta revokes our API access immediately. To also delete the data we previously stored, please complete one of the steps in sections 1 or 2 above. Removing the app on Meta alone does not delete data we already saved.
4. What gets deleted
When you delete your account, we permanently delete:
- Your user profile (name, email, avatar, password hash, preferences).
- All workspaces you own, and all content within them — drafts, scheduled posts, brand voices, personas, campaigns, A/B tests.
- OAuth tokens and refresh tokens for every connected social platform.
- Audience analytics, leads, and CRM data we collected from your connected accounts.
- Uploaded media files (images, videos) from object storage.
- Notification preferences and product-analytics events.
5. What we keep (and why)
For legal, security, and audit reasons, a small amount of data is retained for a limited period after deletion:

6. Confirmation
Once deletion is complete, we send a final confirmation email to the address that requested it. You can request a copy of the deletion log at any time by writing to privacy@bimerge.online.
7. Re-creating an account later
Deletion is permanent. If you want to use Bimerge AI again later, you'll need to create a fresh account — we cannot restore deleted data.
8. Questions or appeals
If you believe your data has not been deleted as requested, or if you want to dispute a deletion decision, contact us at privacy@bimerge.online or our Data Protection Officer at dpo@bimerge.online. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data-protection authority.
